At the end of the last week it was reported that Cardiff-born thriller writer Craig Thomas had died. Thomas was considered to have been the inventor of the techno-thriller, with his novel Firefox made into a Hollywood blockbuster starring Clint Eastwood in 1982.
Sadly, Thomas had battled with acute myeloid leukaemia and died of pneumonia on April 4.
