Roger, I hope they also got a breakfast and a lunch for sitting through that mammoth speech!
But it does appear that he controlled himself on this occasion.

I wasn't there so I don't know what time the results came through. However, the guest speaker was Gyles Brandreth, who has featured in the Guinness Book of Records for making the longest-ever after-dinner speech - lasting twelve and a half hours. Perhaps he's having another attempt at the record?

Thanks Roger.

My information is that they will start announcing the results at around 9:30 pm, depending on how long Gyles Brandreth speaks for. I've got the updates for the CWA web site ready to go, and was intending to upload them at 11pm but if there's any sign that the winners know, I will upload them sooner.
