Well, it only took a day or so, but sitemeter has thrown up another interesting hit for this site. From Nigeria, no less - creator of the 419 swindle/fraud/scandal - a hit came as a result of a Google search today: "types of crime in the banking sector". And it was only two days ago that I posted about Misha Glenny at the Oxford Literary Festival talking about his new book McMafia: Crime without Frontiers which is the page the search hit upon.
Incidentally, you are now able to hear his Oxford lecture here, by clicking on the link at the top of the article, courtesy of The Sunday Times. (Be prepared to wait a while for the download.) No videos or pics, but you will get an idea of the theme and substance of the book. You'll also get an idea of how good the presentation was; so don't forget that Misha Glenny is also at Hay later this year on Saturday 31 May at 14:30 (according to the draft programme).
More from Oxford later.
