Oscar is pleased to inform all you well wishers and friends out there that he's much better now. He's even enjoying his daily Dairylea treats, making sure he has his heart tablets. As of Tuesday morning this week, he's proven he's back to normal as he did a mad race up and down the stairs and investigated the bottom of wardrobe when I opened the door. He's also found his voice again.
And talking of him finding his voice again, he'd also like to inform you that he's read a good book lately and wants to tell you all about it. That book is A Dog About Town by J. F. Englert. Hopefully, later today we'll manage to type in the words.
Thanks Debi!

Further signs of recovery here. I am typing this one handed as he's lying in front of the keyboard!

Glad to read this news, Crimefic. I knew there had to be a better alternative to slipping things into "milk Mickey Finns"!

Roger,
The vet said crush the tablets and mix with Dairylea or butter, placing on his paw, as fastidious cats will lick it off. The first and only time I tried this full version we made a bit of a mess as I had enough for all four paws. But the next time, when he saw the mixing bowl he knew what was coming and cried to let me know he wanted it ASAP. Thus he now has it in the mixing bowl every time.

I'm glad to hear Oscar's feeling better. I never thought of trying dairylea with our cat, Molly. We were trying to get her to take some tablets and wrapped them in cheddar, which seemed to work for a while, until she got wise.
