... "Nirvana Bites" by Debi Alper.
Debi Alper's début "Nirvana Bites" is a tour de force in south London quirky and survival living, with crime not too far away. The pace of this novel has made me put to one side my other reading for the moment, but only for a moment.
I'm drawn in. I look forward to sharing my thoughts in the near future.
Thanks Kath for your comments. I'm looking forward to reading Trading Titiana at the earliest opportunity.
Best,
crimefic

Not at all, Maxine. I think we all look out to see if we have similar views, or if we are so diverse in our thoughts that we may have missed the obvious somewhere along the way...
I read a book recently that I absolutely loathed by the time I finished it. A shame, as it was my first read for that particular author and the cover had blurb text from a big name author whose work I do enjoy reading and admire. I've no doubt that the blurb was probably a general one rather than specifically on that book, due to the nature of the wording. Perhaps I started with the wrong book, but I'm going to search and see if there are any reviews out there on the net, as I wonder if I missed something!
I'll have something up on Nirvana Bites by the end of the weekend, as I finished it today.

I look forward to reading your review of Nirvana Bites, I love reading reviews or articles about books I have read (has to be recently with the state of my brain these days). Is that weird of me?
