I recently read and reviewed this and liked it very much. And yes, this business with men and the barbecue is so spot on. My ex would never cook a thing but as soon as the barbie came out he was off and I was relegated to chief assistant.

I have this one ready to start reading at Crime Fest, and perhaps get signed by the translator Steven T Murray. It sounds a nice mixture of crime and comic amusement and my review might be an excuse to post a certain photo for the younger male visitors.
Those of us who would only approach a kitchen cooker with great trepidation are indeed prepared to have a go and scorch a steak on a barbie even if it means also burning down the garden fence and our neighbours shed!

A great review of a fine crime novel. I reviewed it in February and also enjoyed it thoroughly.
